Graduation

First half of the day was nothing special. I woke up really late cause we slept really late the night before discussing our hopes and dreams and something we wanna do before we die, etc. etc. I went to the kitchen and I was surprised Kakak didn't serve breakfast. Here it's the 'you don't eat breakfast you don't step out of the house' rule. Hmm, seems like everyone didn't really like the rule, because no one ate breakfast that morning.

Then it's watch TV, walk around the house, going online, walk around the house, bathe, check Friendster, search for songs, watch TV, walk around the house again... ... (you know the house is so big, you walk around it and go into every room, every corner, it takes you around 10 minutes?) When AiJuin came home, I bathe again and Sue Ching and AiJuin drew my face up like a doll. I felt like a mannequin. So then we're off to my brother's graduation!

I think I was the only one alone in the whole room. Everyone went with a partner. Or a family member, that wasn't the graduates themselves, of course. I choose a seat near the back and feeling retarded, just sitting there by myself. So I just pretend to read the programme manual. And to top it all, my brother took no notice of me. not even when I called out to him. And the Korean lady that sat beside me kept looking at me, it made me feel so uncomfortable.

So anyway, after the ceromony there was the buffet dinner. But I felt retarded, like I said, I just don't feel like myself there. And furthermore, I have no idea where to sit. So I hid myself in the bathroom and listen to the female graduate moan about their makeup, and I think one of them was talking about her boyfriend. I sat there alone until I was almost bored to death, then I went out and pretend to walk around, looking at the banners.

That's when my brother has finally remembered that I'm there as well, and came looking for me. He introduced me to some of his friends, who were all very nice. There was one guy called Matthew and I think he thought we were a couple. So anyway, just as I was actually starting to enjoy myself(because someone has actually took notice of me), AiJuin came, so I went home, rubbed off my makeup, changed into my pajamas with nothing underneath, walking barefooted instead of really high and spiky high-heels, cooked myself a big bowl of Maggi Mee with veges and egg, and I sat crossed-legged on the chair, and wash down my Maggi with a big glass of orange juice. Ahhh... ... Now this was more like it.

KL Journey

I just finished my exam today. And I'm going to KL . At 2:15pm, 1 hour and 20 minutes after the school bell ring. And I haven't finish packing. And to top it all, Mum only arrived at school to pick me up at 1:10pm.

I reached home at 1:25pm, finished packing at 1:50, took 10 minutes to bathe, and reached the bus station 10 minutes later, wondering whether my bus had left. It haven't, but I was the last passenger to board it. Then I thought: Hey, I'm in Malaysia. No bus or car or train or even plane would start on time. (This is important, remember this and wait for the '27th May'.) Mum, as usual, was teary-eyed and runny-nosed. So, to cheer her up, I send her a touching SMS, asking her not to worry, blah-blah-blah. It always works. and at 2:35pm, finally, the bus left the terminal. Before that, mum kept sending me all those numbers of cousins that she thought I would find useful. They were useful, but I already got all of them, and I was getting kinda annoyed with my phone going off every few seconds.

So, feeling a little bit annoyed, I left Penang Island. I was looking forward for a extremely comfortable nap on the bus as I boarded NICE, the extremely expensive yet very comfortable bus. Just as soon as we were on the Penang Bridge, I reached out for the lever that can lower the seat. Hmm, it seems like it's stuck. I pulled harder. It's fishing stuck! I pulled and pulled like hell. No Mr. Jesus, please don't tell me that I'm the unfortunate passenger that gets the only broken seat. I look around and see everyone else lower their seats and going into Wonderland. NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! *sighs*

When the bus driver stop for a break in a petrol station somewhere in Ipoh, I get of to pee and buy a can of Mr. Potato to chew loudly on the bus. If I don't sleep, you don't sleep too. (just joking, I haven't the heart to do it.)

Later, I finally drift into sleep with my neck feeling like it's breaking. Then, suddenly, I was jerked awake by a annoying ringtone behind me. Grrr. The man behind me fisehed out his mobile and starts yapping loudly into it. I screwed up my eyes, trying to remember what mum promised me to go to my brother's graduation in her place. Moan. I put on my iPod to drown out his voice. 'If I lie here, if I just lay here, would you lie with me and just forget the world...' 'YALAH! LU ZHAI EH MA, EE ANEH EH LANG...' 'Show me a garden that's bursting into life...' 'BOLAH, WA ON THE WAY AI KII KL, HANA, KII CHUI BENG EUU LAR...' What have I done to deserve this?! and to make things worst that man stinks of cigaratte smoke.

I finally reach KL at 6:45pm. I take my wheelie bag and look aroung for AiJuin. Hmm, I don't see her anywhere. I'll give her a call. 'The person you called is unavailable. Please try agai...' Weird. I head into the lounge. From outside I can see everyone staring at the TV, but when I walk in, WOAH! Everyone turns to look at me. As in everyone. I guess the show must be pretty boring. I sit down, take off my jacket, fold it nicely and put it in my bag. Then I take a big gulp of water. Sue Ching calls and ask me whether I see AiJuin, I tell her no. She seems rather surprized and tell me to keep a look out for her. Weird. I look around the lounge and see a lady in black T-shirt in front of the computer. She has brown hair. Then I receive a call from Sue Ching again asking the same question. For the whole hour I'm sitting there, I've received 4 calls from mum, 3 from my brother, at least 5 from Sue Ching, and 1 from Hong Shen. Suddenly, I spot AiJuin outside the lounge. She told me she's been in the lounge the whole time! It turns out that she was the 'lady in black shirt'.

Whew! What a hell of a journey.

Exams Again. (Boo-Hoo)

So, Long time, No see. I have a problem going online every few days to update this. Mum thinks I should be studying instead.

Anyways, exam started yesterday. Yesterday was BM1 and BM2. I have absolubely nothing to say about paper 1. Hmm, paper 2 was a little more than OK. It was my first time not choosing 'cerita' format. The 'cerita' one was about going to a neighbour's house-warming. I initially was going to choose that. But then I thought : Nah. So I wrote 'Langkah-langkah meningkat minat membaca murid-murid sekolah'. I even used a 'peribahasa'. Which is so unusual for me.

Today was BI1 and BI2. I got some tips from Timothy(he's in Chung Ling) to read Themes, Characteristics, Settings, and Plot. He told me that they had the BM karangan's title ages ago. They were able to go home and prepare it. That's NOT fair! This was supposed to be Ujian Persamaan! (which means the questions were set by the MOE) In that case, they weren't supposed to get those tips! It's bad enough that the questions leaks in normal exams, but in Ujian Persamaan as well ?! A friend of mine got a hint that the composition part (section 1) is going to be 'gotong-royong'. He was right! Some of my other friends even had model answers printed out. Cheating. No fair. Whine. Sulk.

So there, I've updated my blog.
